In 2018, the Industry and Parliament Trust (IPT) hosted a Breakfast meeting in the House of Commons on a topic entitled, “Delivering Clean Energy Technologies”. This high profile event was chaired by Albert Owen MP, member of the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select Committee. Guest speakers Professor Basu Saha and Stuart Easterbrook, Future Gas Strategy Manager, Cadent, provided insights on the clean energy technologies that are available and how they could be delivered. The discussion was attended by members of both the House of Commons and House of Lords, along with various representatives from the UK’s energy and transport sectors, business leaders and fellow academics.
