Press/Media: Research

Description

We are pleased to announce that Dr Stephen Constantine's book Community and Identity: The Making of Modern Gibraltar since 1704 has been published by Manchester University Press. This richly informed study, derived from an AHRC-funded project, explains how a multi-ethnic and largely Roman Catholic and Jewish civilian population became settled in 'British' Gibraltar and eventually and problematically developed a distinctive 'Gibraltarian' identity.
