Victoria Montemayor talks with Hervin Fernández-Aceves, who is a medievalist and historian who works in teaching and research. He is currently doing a postdoctoral stay as a Research Associate at Lancaster University, and his work focuses on Mediterranean societies, Italian historiography, and medieval diplomats. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Public Administration from UNAM. She graduated from the Central European University, in Budapest, obtaining a distinction in the double master's degree in Comparative History and Interdisciplinary Medieval Studies. She did doctoral studies at the University of Leeds, for which she received a CONACYT scholarship abroad. She obtained the degree of Doctor of History in 2018. She was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Leeds Research Institute of Arts and Humanities and an Award Fellow at the British School in Rome. Her most recent book, County and Nobility in Norman Italy, was published this year by Bloomsbury Publishing House (London).
