History postgraduate student Emily Mead awarded the Queen's Studentship

The Department of History is pleased to announce that postgraduate student Emily Mead has been awarded the Queen's Studentship in History for 2008-09.

Awards are made by the Senate on the recommendations of the Head of Department of History each year to the best qualified candidate for a graduate course or a research degree in history. This prize was first awarded in 1967.
