Imogen Tyler Awarded Prestigious Philip Leverhulme Prize 2014

leverhuDr Imogen  Tyler (Sociology) has been awarded a prestigious Philip Leverhulme Prize  by the Leverhulme Trust. The prize is awarded annually to outstanding young scholars who have made an internationally recognised contribution in their fields of research (sociology and social policy) and who are expected to make even greater contributions later in their career. The Prize itself is £100,000 to be used over a 3 year period, from 1/9/2015, to support Imogen's research on stigma and inequality.
