I am interested in using feminist theory to explore the nature of women entrepreneurs, looking at ways to promote and support women in business ownership through the use of digital technologies.

Prior to returning to academia I spent 9 years working in industry providing services to would be and nascent entrepreneurs in areas such as tax and national insurance, VAT, book keeping, marketing, legislation and legal structures etc.  During this time I also worked to influence government policy regarding women entrepreneurs at both a regional and national level.
