Profile

Anna graduated from the University of Manchester in 2019 with a BSc(Hons) in Plant Science. She discovered vertical farming and hydroponics during this time, and during her final year she worked with Hive Urban Farms Ltd. After graduation she continued working with HUF until COVID caused the company to cease production.
She decided from there to pursue researching Controlled Environment Agriculture, leading her to this project partnered with Evoponic and funded by CGE. Her research is focussed on the use of biostimulants to mitigate high temperature stress, looking at impacts on yields and nutritional content of tomatoes
