Cameron has a particular interest in the United Nations and the compliance of states with Treaties in the years 2010-2021.

Cameron's current research focuses on the effectiveness of the United Nations Human Rights Mechanisms. Specifically the ability of these mechanisms to enforce the compliance of states with treaties over an eleven year period.
