Research overview

My research interests include magma ascent dynamics, xenolith transportation and gas slug behaviour in volcanic conduits. I am also interested in how these subsurface processess impact the severity of risk at the surface.

I am undertaking a PhD project on the transport and eruption of xenolith-bearing magmas with the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics research group at Lancaster Environment Centre.
