Minna Halme is professor of sustainability management at Aalto University School of Business, Finland. Her research focuses on business models for sustainability and co-creation of frugal innovations in low-income emerging markets. Minna works with a number of European research consortia and leads national research projects on sustainable business and consumption. She has published in e.g. Ecological Economics, Journal of Management Studies, Business Strategy and Environment and Journal of Business Ethics. She has served as an advisor in UN Secretary-General's High-level Panel on Global Sustainability, and is frequently interviewed by news media. The Academy of Finland has awarded her for the societal impact of her research.
