Career Details

Pam has worked in a careers-related capacity at Lancaster University since 2002, following on from a successful career in retail management.  Her current remit is to manage an internship programme which builds on existing employability-related initiatives across the faculty.  A principal aim is to help academic departments source high quality internship opportunities which are relevant to their students.  Based within the Partnerships and Business Engagement team in the Faculty of Science and Technology, she regularly liaises with businesses and university staff to discuss possibilities around the arrangement of internships.


She has experience of several funded projects including UNITE, Santander and to a lesser extent, the Centre for Global Eco-Innovation.

Pam holds two undergraduate degrees and a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Education, Information and Guidance in HE.  She is also a holder of the Leader@Lancaster award, achieved in 2017, and the Manager@Lancaster award, achieved in 2019.

She holds the Silver Award as part of the Lancaster Professional Programme.
