Research overview

Hi!

My research interests are in food security improvement through increasing photosynthetic efficiency, as well as understanding how to succesfully apply biotechnology. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Crop Sciences with a concentration on Plant Biotechnoloy & Molecular Biology. I am now starting my PhD in the Lundgren lab, my project being Recreating Components of C2 Photosynthesis in Arabidopsis, funded by the NorthWestBio DTP. In my free time I enjoy hiking and skateboarding.
