This project investigated the implementation of Schenkerian Analysis, resulting in the first computer software capable of making a Schenkerian reduction from a short extract of musical score with no human intervention. The results were published in an article in Journal of New Music Research in 2010 and reported at the AMS/SMT conference in 2009 and ICMC in 2011.
