Description

The Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Model Intercomparison Project is organized under the auspices of Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate (AC&C), a project of International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) and Stratospheric Processes And their Role in Climate (SPARC) under the International Geosphere-Biosphere Project (IGBP) and World Climate Research Program (WCRP). It aims to provide assessments of past and future atmospheric composition and chemistry to supplement the Climate Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP) phase 5 studies performed in support of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) fifth assessment report.
