The Youth Re: action Team (YRAT) was a group of upper secondary school students from Barrow-in-Furness who were involved in researching local people's views of the regeneration of their town. The YRAT steering group asked REAP to act as consultants to this group of budding social researchers. Workshops were delivered which aimed to improve the students' research and analytic skills as they undertook two projects concerning the development of social and educational provisions within Barrow. The project had several funders including Barrow Borough Council and Furness Education Consortium.
