This project explored how LUMS can leverage existing innovative management education interventions as a platform for reshaping the wider management school post-graduate curriculum towards a broad Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) focus. The research underpinning the project engaged with our staff, students and alumni, as the basis for developing a proposal for innovative, impactful, research-led teaching and learning interventions across LUMS’s post-graduate offerings, and for ensuring this curriculum is embedded within a credible ESG-focused operational stance across the School.
We propose a series of initiatives to more fully embed sustainability and responsibility across all activities to transform our postgraduate curriculum. The focus is to embed ESG standards throughout. The initiatives focus on internal operations; building staff capability; aligning rewards; transforming curriculum; and aligning budget structures.
