CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGISTS WORKING WITH ADOLESCENTS & FAMILIES IN FORENSIC SETTINGS

Project: Other

Description

I am the Network lead for CPAFFS

CPAFFS aims to provide a support and CPD events to clinical psychologists working in these settings or colleagues who are interested in this area of work. We also aim to use the network to respond to national or local consultations and influence wider policy.

Here is an example of some of the work the network has completed in 2013;
• Provided a formal response to the All Part Parliamentary Group (APP) on ‘Children and the Police’ call for evidence
• Delivered a symposium at the CYP Conference in September 2013
• Held a CPD day on adolescent attachment in November 2013
• Attended a House of Lords event to raise the profile of adolescent forensic issues
