This is a research project looking at online communities in photo sharing websites like Flickr, blipfoto, Twitter and Facebook. The project aims to understand what communities look like in practice with a focus on ethical standards, privacy and data sharing.

Between August 2016 and April 2017 we are working with participants, observing their interactions in online communities. These anonymised data will then be analysed using qualitative techniques. Further information for people in these online communities is available via the document on the right.
