Disabled people experience considerable employment disadvantage. The flexibility offered by homeworking and hybrid working may help address the disability employment gap. Funded by City Bridge Trust, our study explored the challenges and opportunities posed by homeworking and hybrid working for disabled workers’ job entry, job retention and return-to-work; how homeworking and hybrid working can be made inclusive, including through digital technologies; unmet support and information needs of disabled employees and employers regarding the planning and implementation of inclusive homeworking and hybrid working; and good practice in managing remote and hybrid teams.
