The Anti-Politics Specialist Group of the PSA wants to spearhead a research initiative focused on understanding the emotional dynamics of anti-politics. We seek to build a novel piece of research infrastructure that will potentially be of interest and benefit to the full political science community and beyond. Although it has a defined target output, the main aim of this project is to bring people together to look at a highly salient but generally under-acknowledged feature of contemporary politics – why feelings matter.
