Understanding how visually impaired children and young people experience digital technologies for learning

Description

This is a pilot study to explore how young people who are blind or visually impaired use digital technologies – such as the computer and internet – for learning at school, home and in other environments. Qualitative in design, 16 visually impaired young people and their teachers will be interviewed and observed to investigate uses of digital technologies in both primary and secondary schools.
