Part of the NIHR School for Public Health Places and Communities Programme, this research this research sought to understand how local authorities (LAs) develop place-centred strategies to maximise human and financial assets to tackle social determinants of health and health inequalities in a context of constrained finances and elucidate the pathways between these strategies and improvements in health, wellbeing and inequalities.
