Research overview

I work within the BSL group of ATLAS, with particular interest in B -> J/psi X decays. These decays are use to search for new physics (Bs → J/psi phi, Bs → J/psi K+K-), and provide detector performance studies (B+ → J/psi K+). I contribute to these analyses through the development of complex multi-dimensional fits and study the effects of miss-reconstructed physics background processes.

Additional I am involved in performance studies of the primary vertexing toolchain in ATLAS, TIDE, and development of novel seeding strategies for vertex fitting in high pile-up environments.
