Dr Emily Graham

Research student

Profile

I graduated from Durham University in 2015 after completing a Mathematics (MMath) degree which included a range of pure and applied mathematics modules including several modules in statistics and operational research. I have always had a particular interest in statistics and operational research due to the fact that they are driven by and directly relatable to real-life problems. Hence, in my final year at Durham I completed a statistics project titled “Bayesian inference and emulation for stochastic biological models” which confirmed my interest in pursuing further study.

I joined the STOR-i programme in October 2015 and completed the MRes component in September 2016. I am currently working on my PhD project which is supervised by Thomas Jaki and is in collaboration with Roche. The title of the project is “Late stage combination drug development for improved portfolio-level decision-making.”
