Evelin Nikolova is a PhD candidate in Linguistics, an Associate Lecturer, and an Academic Coordinator of summer programmes at the Department of Linguistics and English Language at Lancaster University. She is also an MA dissertation supervisor in the Durham Centre for Academic Development at Durham University. Her research interests include language, gender and sexuality in digital environments, and she draws on theories and methods from Critical Discourse Studies. She is especially interested in women’s rights and sexual harassment in the workplace and her PhD research looks at how members of an online escort community use language to construct client-initiated sexual harassment.
