Profile

George Deltas is a Professor with a primary specialization in Industrial Organization. He obtained his Doctorate from Yale University in 1996, and has since held a faculty appointment at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. While on leave from his primary institution, he has spent a year at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Research overview

The primary research interests are in Industrial Organization, Auctions and Bidding, Political Economcy, and Environmental Economics. Subsidiary interests are in Applied Econometrics and Labor Economics.
