Research overview

My research interests lie generally in the fields of political economy and philosophy of social science. In particular, I am currently interested in contemporary capitalist variety and variegation, with a regional focus on East Asia. Also, my theoretical interests centre on critical realism, historical materialism, historical institutionalism, the regulation theory, the strategic-relational approach, critical semiotic analysis and the rubric of variegated-capitalism.
