Research overview

I’m currently a PhD student at STOR-i CDT, Lancaster University having completed a Masters of Research in Statistics and Operational Research in 2018. My main research area is revenue management, specifically in the airline industry given that my PhD project is joint work with German airline, Lufthansa. Most revenue management systems rely on forecasts of expected demand, and my research focuses on systematically detecting cases where demand differs from expectations. My supervisors are Catherine Cleophas (Christian-Albrechts Universität zu Kiel), Florian Dost (Lancaster University), Adam Sykulski (Lancaster University), and Jonas Rauch (Lufthansa Group).

Prior to joining STOR-i, I graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2017, with a BSc in Mathematics, having studied a range of topics spanning Pure and Applied Mathematics as well as Statistics.
