Research overview

I am a first year Psychology PhD candidate, working in collaboration with Greenpeace International. I am interested in the moral psychology of meat consumption - how we can love and eat animals. Currently, I am investigating behaviour-centric strategies for promoting meat reduction. Specifically, I am looking at the efficacy of meat-free pledging on long term attitudial and behaviour change towards more plant-based diets. In my research I use smartphone-based experience sampling methodology to get acheive a more ecologically valid insight into patterns of food consumption.
