Ferme Asile International Artist Resident

A three month residency at Ferme Asile Art Centre in Sion, Switzerland , awarded competitively to an international artist with a stipend of 1500 CHF/ month to develop new research.

The Ferme-Asile is a multidisciplinary art centre that aims to develop and promote creation in Valais and in Switzerland. Specialised in contemporary art and music, the Ferme-Asile participates in the development of artistic expression and culture in a place of creation, production, training and research.
The Ferme-Asile has a large exhibition space, a concert hall, 10 artists' studios, an international residency, a studio for young artists, a restaurant and large outdoor spaces.
The aim of this international residency programme is to enable artists to stay in Valais and benefit from a natural and cultural environment that is conducive to the practice of their art, research and creation. It is open to applications from international professional artists working in visual, sound or performing
arts. Interdisciplinary projects are welcome.
