I'm delighted to announce that Imogen Tyler will be the recipient this year of a Lancaster University Staff Award in the Outstanding Contribution category, for her 'ground-breaking research into social inequity'. Imogen's book on this topic, Revolting Subjects, has been receiving a lot of attention and praise, from within academia and beyond, and has put Imogen in great demand as a speaker to research groups and civil society networks, and in the media. This prize, which Imogen will receive during the degree ceremonies in July, is really well deserved and great news for the Department. Well done Imogen!
