The Transportation Science Meritorious Service Award is created to recognize Associate Editors and reviewers who have offered exceptional service to the journal in the review process. This honor is given to those who distinguish themselves, either by the number of papers handled, efficiency of handling papers (turnaround time), quality of the reviews (thoughtful and unbiased), or some combination of these.
