Abstract

An asymmetric two stage tilted electric field (TEF) collector was simulated using the fully 3-D package LKOBRA (MF) which has been developed for the simulation of symmetric and asymmetric collectors. The package has been validated through some tests for its suitability for multistage depressed collector (MDC) simulation. A comparison of the simulated and experimental results for this collector shows a good agreement between them.
