N2 - In order to exploit the full potential of proposed future high-energy electron-positron colliders, precise knowledge of the polarization state of the beams is required. In this paper we present an updated analysis of the depolarization effects caused by the intense beam-beam interaction, which is expected to be the dominant source of depolarization. The impact of higher-order effects are considered and numerical results from the Guinea-Pig and CAIN simulations are presented for the latest International Linear Collider (ILC) and Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) machine parameters.
