Abstract

Scholars and researchers are currently looking into the ways in which design thinking
and design methods serve the organisation in reorienting and changing itself around the needs of the people they serve [1,2,3,4]. However, there are still few examples that allow us to gain insights of how this works in practice.
This paper explores how design thinking can enable and contribute to the process of change implementation throughout the organisation building on insights and lessons learned from a recent project, in which design in the organisation was a core focus.
