Description

The 5GRIT project is one of six projects chosen to represent the best of UK innovation, resources and expertise and is part of the government’s £1 billion commitment to keep Britain at the forefront of connectivity. 5GRIT will be trialling TV White Space technology to test the potential for shared spectrum radio to deliver 5G services to rural areas. The project will look at how the technology can benefit rural areas through the delivery of broadband services and supporting a range of innovative rural applications, including smart agriculture and tourism.
