Twig is a company producing a wide range of video films and accompanying resources, which cover the secondary school science curriculum. The videos are divided into topic areas, and they offer real-life discussions and animated illustrations of key facts and concepts. A key question for this study was: Do video films support learning of science topics as well as texts, and, if so, how and under what conditions?
