What's your story? Graphic narratives of local residents' lived experiences of well being and social connectedness

Description

This project supported the creation of the public engagement and feedback booklet by artist Len Grant, who applied a technique of graphic ethnography and sketching, in collaboration with the community of and around Haslingden, Haslingden Resident advisors (Dawn Vear, Jennifer Shilliday, Lisa Bloor and Gemma Shingler), Kayt Horsley (Lancashire City Council), researchers from Lancaster University (Dr Emma Halliday and Dr Natasa Lackovic), and the University of Liverpool (Dr Glenn Simpson).

The project was a part of a larger project funded by The National Institute for Health Research Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care, North West Coast (NIHR CLAHRC NWC) led by Professor Jennie Popay.
