Poster presentation:
Indoor airborne volatile organic compound (VOC) data is presented from contrasting homes in Lancashire. Homes differ in age of property, size of rooms, heating sources, pets and number of inhabitants. Data were collected using Radiello sorbent cartridges over monthly periods in each home. Particulate matter (PM) levels are also presented. A brief overview is also given of Lancaster Environment Centre’s involvement in the FP7 project INTASENSE. INTASENSE aims integrate a number of micro- and nano-sensing technologies onto a common detection platform to produce a low-cost miniaturised system that can comprehensively measure air quality, and identify the nature and form of pollutants.
