Death Cafes public engagement in Lancaster medical School

30/06/2022

I supported two fourth year undergrad med students (Lana Robinson and Jacob McSweeney) to deliver a death cafe on the 30th 2022 in Fylde Common Room from 1pm till 2pm. Death cafes are an international initiative to encourage the general public to have discussions about death and dying to reduce stigma about the topic. The students were successful in obtaining engagement funding, and I helped the students organise and deliver the sessions.
