After the publication of the 2023 Defence Command Paper (DCP), the Council on Geostrategy asks six strategic experts to explain how the document affects Britain’s evolving force posture. I stressed that DCP23 rightly emphasises the importance of the stability of the global (maritime) order and of the global supply chain, while making it clear that our 'future defence' in a most unstable world will rely on a reciprocal relationship with the private sector.
