EQUIS Task Force on Pedagogy and Learning (Standard 2)

The Task Force on Pedagogy and Learning has been convened as part of the EQUIS project to support the ongoing development and refinement of Standard 2 (Programmes). The group’s primary role is to ensure that the standard remains aligned with contemporary developments in management education and reflects best practices in pedagogy and learning design.

The Task Force will:

Review recent updates to Standard 2, including the emphasis on technology-enabled learning and student-centred methodologies.

Examine emerging trends in management education, with particular attention to technology and AI, micro-credentials, lifelong learning, and innovative pedagogical approaches.

Provide expert input and recommendations to strengthen the standard, ensuring its continued relevance and alignment with global expectations of quality in management education.

Facilitate structured discussions and exchange of experiences among participants, drawing on diverse institutional and disciplinary perspectives.

The group will operate as a short-term working body, meeting virtually on several occasions to develop its insights and contribute to the future direction of EQUIS accreditation standards in the area of pedagogy and learning.
