Canopy Exchange Model Intercomparison Project (CanExMIP)

I am a member of the Scientific Steering Committee for the iLEAPS/GEIA CanExMIP initiative, an international project designed to improve understanding of the complex processes taking place within forest canopies. Results from the multi-model comparison will be used to develop our modelling capability and to design experiments to test our models and their representations of the fundamental processes involved in the exchange of gases and particles between vegetation and the lower atmosphere.
