I was invited to deliver a lecture to students at Blackpool and Fylde College who were studying Sports Science related degrees (coaching, teaching etc). The talk discussed brain injuries in sport, specifically concussion, incidence rates, how to prevent/diagnose concussions, detection methods, and we did an activity where students were taught how to use a range of concussion detection equipment.
