I have organised a panel entitled 'Cross-border journeys: Transition, Translation and Transnational Voices in Contemporary Cinema' in which I will be giving the paper, 'Narrative Encounters with Foreignness in Pawel Pawlikowski’s Cold War (2018)' with my colleague Katarzyna Marciniak (U of Ohio). The other panel members are Alice Bardan (U of Southern California) and Aine O'Healy (Loyola Marymount University), and the chair is Terri Ginsberg (American U in Cairo).
