Playing With Games: Some Experiences with Game Based Learning

Legal Educational Games: Engagement, Network and Dissemination (LEGEND) the largest global network to support academics interested in the use of game based learning in legal education. The network includes regular online hangouts including oral presentations related to the application of legal educational Games.

Angus MacCulloch and Oliver Fitton from Lancaster University Law School presented their work on the use of Game Based Learning for legal and criminology teaching. Angus MacCulloch's section of the presentation focused on the teaching of Game Theory using commercially available boardgames. Oliver Fitton's secant of the presentation focused on the development and implementation of Zoe Immersive software to create a virtual realty crime scene to teach digital evidence.
