Lancaster University comments on EFSA's BPA hazard assessment protocol
Lancaster Environment Centre responded to the EFSA Public Consultation on its protocol for a new hazard assessment of bisphenol-A. We said that while the publication of the protocol was welcome, its intent to be systematic was undermined by use of a number of ad-hoc methods. We suggest options for improvement. A number of changes were made by EFSA to the protocol in response to our suggestions, published in December 2017.
