I was delighted to run a workshop of 'writing research questions' with palliative care nurses and doctors in Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is part of the 'Research in Palliative Care (RESPACC) Project in NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group.

The RESPACC project is an Erasmus+ initiative, which aims to include basic research competences as part of the clinical practice of palliative care professionals. I have been delighted to teach clinicians in the NHS the importance of research in palliative care, and to support their development of research skills and competancies.

I am delighted to support development of research skills of palliative care staff. It is also greate to see collaboration and partnership between University of Liverpool & Lancaster University through this work. It is a wonderful initiative and has great potential to upskill the capacity for palliative care healthcare professionals to participate in research across the North West Coast.
