The Young Functional Analysts' Workshop 2014 is a 3 day workshop in functional analysis. It will be held in the Postgraduate Statistics Centre at Lancaster University between 23rd-25th April 2014. This is the 6th edition of the workshop, with previous meetings having been held in Leeds, Newcastle, York, Oxford and Sheffield. The workshop is aimed at PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. It consists of talks given by participants about their work. We have the following confirmed invited academic speakers: Alexander Belton (Lancaster University) Madalin Guta (University of Nottingham) Ivan Todorov (Queen's University, Belfast) Andras Zsak (Peterhouse College, University of Cambridge) Piotr Koszmider (Institute of Mathematics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw) The conference also allows the attendees to discuss their research informally and keep up with current trends in functional analysis.
