Mathematical Physics (Maths and Stats)

Organisation profile

Mathematical physics encompasses a wide variety of topics that interface with other disciplines in pure mathematics.  What they have in common is that they are motivated by a desire to understand a phenomenon arising in physics using mathematical tools.  These tools include algebra, analysis, the theory of differential equations, geometry, probability and more.
